The government of Bhutan has set a maximum tariff of US$250.00 per person per night for foreign tourists travelling to Bhutan.

This applies during the peak seasons of March, April, May, September, October and November. Low season tariff is a minimum of US$200.00 per person per night for the months of January, February, June, July, August, and December.

Visa fee is US$40.00 per person

Supplement cost

  • For a single trekker it is US$40.00 a person a night halt
  • For a group of two (2) persons it is US$30.00 per person per night halt
  • Single Room supplementary cost is US$40.00 per night halt

The above costs are inclusive of all three meals, accommodation, transportation, English-speaking guide and royalty of USD65.00 a day payable to the government.

In some cases, particularly where a single traveler chooses a trek or a journey to the eastern part of the country, the costs of running the tour are not covered in full by the rates mentioned above, because of recent increases in local costs such as hiring of animals, porters, etc.

In such cases, we will quote a price for you based on running the Bhutan tour and provide the details of quotation. We also impose a surcharge for all treks arranged for a group of one – three, to meet the operation costs.
